Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
(08 Sep 2010)
A very fun release, and I bet it will have been unlike anything else in its time. Nowadays, it obviously doesn't sound so fresh as it used to, but it still holds on very well even today. The music on Unquestionable Presence is the kind of Death Metal that has little to no brutality, but is still definitely Death Metal. The riffs range from incredible to pretty bland, as well as the songs.
In my opinion, the album is very overrated, but that doesn't mean that it isn't a good one.
Standout tracks:
Mother Man
An Incarnation's Dream
The Formative Years
And The Psychic Saw
